Great lunch option near UBC. Tasty, flavourful and good portions. Lots of selections and fast service. Very popular can be a bit of a lineup sometimes.

Generous portions and tasty I got lunch from My Home Cuisine Combo on two consecutive days, and both experiences were great! On the first day, I tried the green beans, eggplant, and spicy fried chicken — all were flavorful and freshly made. The next day, I went for rice, fried chicken, and more eggplant because I enjoyed it so much the first time. The portions are more than generous — definitely more than you'd expect for the price. I paid around 15 each time, and it was well worth it. If you're in the area and looking for quick, delicious Chinese takeout, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

My absolute favorite place to grab a bite on the UBC campus. You can’t go wrong with their selection, just trust your stomach! I recommend the fried rice beef stew and the spicy chicken but really anything they have is fantastic. It’s a cost effective meal as well, 10 for a portion that can even be two meals for some people. The staff is very sweet, the auntie doesn’t really speak English so if she seems rude it’s not that it’s intentional- she’s just focused on making sure she gets you the meal you’re looking for. And having lived in Asia myself, I can attest to the authenticity of this restaurant, even the ambience makes me feel like I’m back in a Singaporean hawker center grabbing some lunch.

The cheapest delicious Chinese food that you can find on campus. The meal in the photo was only 12. The dishes are pretty authentic, although some of them have been a bit too salty for me.

This place has FED me. Has it always been a 5/5? Nah. But it is affordable and taste like home aka average most of the time, incredible sometimes. These people are doing the Lord’s work.
